Things to talk to Brooke about

Requests for support that will come through via both email and text that Brooke could help field

So, I think instead of giving out one person's number for receiving texts about people needing support, I say we give out the email address feldenkraisquestions+support@gmail.com for support.  I'll set it up so that emails sent to this address will get forwarded as a text to me.  I know that with my carrier Verizon, I can easily do this.  I'll see if I can get these texts sent to other people, too.  That way we can change who the person is that receives the texts or have it so that multiple people get texts.   If Brooke's cell phone carrier lets me forward emails to her text, she could also be one of the people getting texts.  She may have more bandwidth to handle these texts if she's not at the center, but then there's the disadvantage that she's not at the center.

My idea is that people writing to this address will put their phone number in the subject line so that we can text them back.

Not sure if Brooke actually needs to know all the ins and outs of the following...

You can add + and whatever you want to your gmail addresses and then you can filter those messages and have things behave differently for them. So, this means that both emails that are sent to feldenkraisquestions@gmail.com and feldenkraisquestions+support@gmail.com are going into the same email account. Brooke, if you're willing to be one of the people who fields the support emails, we can have just the feldenkraisquestions+support@gmail.com get forwarded to you so that you don't have to deal with the feldenkraisquestions@gmail.com emails which are student questions about the class material for the trainers.

Part of the manual that I added and then Raz took out:

Reaching out for support during the live segment

We’ve set us the email address feldenkraisquestions+support@gmail.com for reaching out for support. Emails sent to this address will get forwarded to multiple people as a text to help make it so someone can get back to you quickly. In the subject line of these emails, please put your phone number so that we can respond to you by text.
