Corkboard quotes

Typing in these quotes that were displayed on our corkboard has helped me not be a packrat with paper...but I guess I'm still a digital packrat. :)

  • The ability to perceive or think differently is more important than the knowledge gained. -David Bohm

Quotes

Here's an excerpt I liked from Open by Andre Agassi of him talking to Steffi Graf:

Stop thinking, she says. Feeling is the thing. ... We talk for days about thinking versus feeling. She says it’s one thing not to think, but you can’t then decide to feel. You can’t try to feel. You have to let yourself feel.

I had a bit of an epiphany today about letting myself do things vs. trying to do things, where this can be relaxing, writing, working, etc. I don't think I can quite convey it over email (since it was about how the 2 things felt different in my body) but it seems like it'll be helpful to be able to feel the difference between these and do less trying.
