  • Avocado
  • Greens
  • Poppyseed dressing

Banana Peanut Butter Faux Ice Cream

Let frozen bananas thaw for 14 minutes or until they are relatively easy to cut. Cut into small pieces. Mix with peanut butter, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter per banana.

Gingerbread cookies

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1 cup brown sugar

1 1/2 cup molasses

2/3 cup cold water

6 cups flour

1 teaspoon of: salt, allspice, ginger, clove, and cinnamon

2 teaspoons baking soda


Instructions

1. Mix vegetable oil, brown sugar, molasses, spices

2. Mix half of flour into #1

3. Dissolve baking soda into the cold water and mix into #2

4. Mix in second half of flour until the mixture forms a smooth dough (it is nearly impossible to over mix the dough, so don't worry).

5. Chill dough for ~3 hours or more

6. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick and cut into cookies

7. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for ~15 minutes (until no imprint when touched) on greased cookie sheet.


This cookie recipe has been in Peter's family for at least 3 generations, and is a specialty of his father's and his grandmother's.

  • Hash browns where you refrigerate the cooked potato before frying it
